For your information

Hello my name is Troy Hunt, as of right now that is probably all you know about me, but hopefully by the end of this blog you will have a better understanding of who I am.  Lets start at the beginning, the very beginning.  I was born and raised in Asheboro North Carolina, just a few miles from the state zoo.  I grew up in a Christian home, and remain very religious to this day.  I went to a public school and graduated from Southwestern Randolph High School in 2012.  I learned three important things in high school.  One was I found out what I wanted to do as a career for the rest of my life, which is becoming a screenwriter.  Secondly I discovered that I had a rather obsessive imagination, and spent more time daydreaming than I did listening to the teachers.  Thirdly I found out that I was a jock.  Though it may not seem like much the fact that I became an athlete was a shock to everyone.  In middle school I was known as the skinny kid.  Middle school was tough.  However, being that several people went through a bullying phase just as I did, I have no right to talk about it.  I didn’t like being in that situation so I joined the wrestling team, and to no surprise I was horrible.  However I kept working at it, it was harder for me than most of the other kids, being that I had no natural talent, but that only motivated me to try harder.  I am normally a modest person, but I am not afraid to boast at how I went from an eighty-pound kid, who was teased for being skinny, to a fit and robust athlete.  The sport of wrestling changed my life and taught me a valuable lesson.  If you work hard and stay persistent you can accomplish goals.  By my senior year I was team captain for one of the best teams in the state.  I was proud of what I had accomplished in those short years, and in ten years I hope to accomplish even more.  During my junior year of high school I fell in love with my own imagination, as a result I was very fond of writing.  Up until then I thought I was destined to be game designer, until I started to fall in love with the story rather than the gameplay itself.  It was then that I became interested in film, and sense then I have fallen in love with it.  At this point, aside from the courses I have taken at UNCW, I have had very little experience with cinema.  Except for filming high school football games and wrestling matches, I have had little experience in front of a camera.  But what I lack in experience I hope to make up for at college, and in ten years I plan on writing and directing my own film.
