For our
master shot assignment it fell upon me to be in charge of the sound, and as
such I am expected to contribute my ideas regarding this area. Along with
being in charge of sound, I also took on the responsibility of creating the storyboards
for the project. Being this early into
the preproduction stage any ideas regarding sound are subject to change. However there are a few things that I need to
take care of for the final presentation, one of them being the sound of a
socket wrench cranking. I also need to
look into the sounds of footsteps and heavy breathing. One can get a basic idea of how the sound
will operate by looking at the storyboards.
The storyboards were much more time consuming than I had originally realized,
and took carful planning to complete.
Despite this in the end they turned out great, with a clear
understanding of how the narrative will flow.
